In this itinerary you will be stunned by luxuriant and peculiar nature rich of landscapes and aboriginal species. To fully enjoy all of this you will start from North of Adriatic lands visiting the most important karstic area of Europe. One of the main towns is Sistiana. Moving to the South you will meet Krka National Park preserving the Krka river territory. It flows through a picturesque canyon (75 km long) and falls down surpassing majestic tuff barriers, like Skradinki Buk. The tour leads to Plitvice Lakes declared National Park in 1949 and declared World Natural Heritage in 1979. The last Croatian natural area to visit is Paklenica National Park, one of the most attractive park in the entire north-eastern Mediterranean. It is a magnificent example of karstic phenomenon, where you can find outstanding species of flora and fauna. From here continuing through enchanting landscapes behind the Adriatic sea, you enter in Montenegro and then skirt the Kotor’s Mouths until you reach Lovcen mountains. Experience the wide view that goes from the mountains around to the sea until Shkored lake in the “Montenegrian Olympus”.
